Revisiting our interview with Kerry Mills at The Ambassador
Over her impressive 15-year career in senior care, Kerry C. Mills, MPA, has devoted 14 years to serving individuals with Alzheimer’s disease. Her extensive experience has led to recognition as an Executive Director across several Alzheimer facilities and she has been instrumental in developing programs that enrich the lives of those affected by the disease. Additionally, Mills is an active dementia coach at White Plains Hospital in New York and a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, a collective aimed at preventing elder abuse in the state.
At The Ambassador of Scarsdale, Kerry Mills has been a pivotal Dementia Coach for our Kindred team since our foundation. Our aim goes beyond simply educating; we strive to empower our caregivers to cultivate deep, meaningful relationships with our dementia residents. This approach helps position our staff as true care partners, enhancing the quality of life for our residents.
