March gives us a special opportunity to shine a light on the extraordinary individuals who embody the heart of social work every single day. At The Ambassador Scarsdale, we are especially proud to acknowledge Tara Diamond, LMSW Director of Kindred Memory Care at The Ambassador Scarsdale and Jayasree Joshy, MSN, RN , Director of Clinical Services & Case Management whose advocacy, and unwavering commitment to our residents reflect the very best of the social work profession. Their ability to listen deeply, support thoughtfully, and guide families through meaningful moments is felt throughout our entire community.
We also recognize all our nurses who serve in part as case managers, led by Jayasree Joshy, MSN, RN our Director of Clinical Services & Case Management, as she seamlessly integrates the principles of social work into her team of nurses here at The Ambassador Scarsdale. Their work reflects the same dedication to dignity, emotional support, and person-centered care. They bridge clinical expertise with empathy, ensuring residents and families feel seen, heard, and supported.
And of course, Social Work Month wouldn’t be complete without acknowledging every member of our assisted living team. Whether in wellness, dining, recreation, concierge services, housekeeping, maintenance, or administration, each staff member contributes to a culture of compassion and respect. Credentials may differ, but the spirit of social work—empathy, patience, advocacy, and human connection—lives in the way our team shows up for residents every day.
This month, we celebrate not just a profession, but a shared commitment to caring for others with heart. Thank you to the entire Ambassador Scarsdale family for the work you do and the humanity you bring to it.
