The Central Westchester Geriatric Committee (CWGC) recently held another enlightening session in its series of educational meetings, this time focusing on a critical health topic: Coronary Artery Disease – Diagnosis, Prevention, and Treatment. Spearheaded by our very own Jean Dunphy, this meeting was held in person at The Ambassador Scarsdale and brought together professionals dedicated to improving geriatric care and providing valuable educational resources.

We had the privilege of hosting Dr. Gregory Pontone, a renowned noninvasive cardiologist and the Associate Medical Director of Ambulatory Quality & Physician Services at White Plains Hospital. With extensive expertise in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, and Echocardiography, Dr. Pontone shared his insights and knowledge, contributing significantly to our understanding of coronary artery disease.
